SEKurity 2.0: Our New Website Is Live
We rebuilt sekurity.de from the ground up - a new UX/UI on a modern technology stack, crafted with a lot of time and even more attention to detail.
We are excited to announce that SEKurity 2.0 is live. Our website at sekurity.de has been rebuilt from the ground up – new design, new user experience, and a modern technology stack underneath it all. This was not a coat of paint. It was months of design iterations, engineering work, and a lot of attention to the details that most visitors will never consciously notice but always feel.
Agenda
- Why a Relaunch – What motivated the rebuild
- The New UX/UI – What changed for visitors
- Built to Perform – The foundation underneath
- The Work Behind It – Time, craft, and detail
- What’s Next – Where we go from here
Why a Relaunch
Our previous site served us well, but it had grown over time rather than being designed for where SEKurity is today. As our portfolio expanded – adversary simulation, penetration testing, security awareness, and compliance alignment for NIS-2 and DORA – the old structure no longer told our story clearly.
We wanted a site that does three things well:
- Communicate clearly what we do and how we work, without jargon for its own sake
- Earn trust quickly, because security is a trust business before it is a technical one
- Perform flawlessly on every device and connection, because a slow or broken site is a poor first impression for a security company
The New UX/UI
The redesign focuses on clarity and confidence. A dark, high-contrast visual language reflects our offensive-security identity while keeping content readable and calm.
Highlights
- Service-first navigation – Adversary Simulation, Penetration Testing, Security Awareness, and Compliance each have a clear, dedicated path
- A four-step methodology view – Visitors can see exactly how an engagement runs, from scoping to reporting
- Live engagement log – A dynamic element that conveys the rhythm of real offensive work
- Credentials front and center – Industry certifications and sector experience are presented where they build trust, not buried in a footnote
- Fully bilingual – Every page exists in German and English, with a seamless language toggle and locale-aware links
- Accessible by design – Keyboard navigation, semantic structure, and sufficient contrast were requirements, not afterthoughts
Built to Perform
The new site is built on a modern foundation chosen for speed, security, and maintainability. Pages render fast on every device and connection, with interactivity loaded only where it is genuinely needed – so the experience stays snappy without sacrificing capability.
Just as importantly, the structure behind our blog and service content is consistent and rigorously validated across both languages – the same discipline we apply to client work, applied to our own platform.
The Work Behind It
A relaunch like this is mostly invisible labor. Behind the new homepage are countless design iterations, copy rewrites in two languages, accessibility passes, performance budgets, and the unglamorous work of making every link, redirect, and edge case behave correctly.
We treated our own site with the same rigor we bring to a security engagement: question assumptions, test thoroughly, and never ship something we would flag in someone else’s audit. The hard work is the point – it is what makes the result feel effortless.
What’s Next
The 2.0 release is a foundation, not a finish line. Expect continued refinements, more in-depth content on this blog, and further improvements driven by how visitors actually use the site.
We would love your feedback. If something looks off, could be clearer, or simply made you think – tell us.
